Maintenance Intervals
Fox Recommends service on SVT Raptor shocks every 10,000-50,000 miles.
If you have more miles than that, it's a good bet your shocks and coilovers need service. Our Shock Exchange provides you with a set of used shocks that have been fully rebuilt and serviced for a fast turn-around when working on your Raptor.
Standard Shock Service (Raptor or non-Raptor Customers):
Possible time your truck is on jack-stands = 3-4 Days
- Remove Shocks from the vehicle
- Bring them to Keen ShockWorks
- Keen removes and replaces old seals with new, changes oil, reassembles, and re-pressurizes shocks. (Within 24-48 hours)
- Pick up Freshly-Serviced Shocks
- Reinstall Shocks on the vehicle
To expedite your shock service, it is helpful to check the shafts of your shocks for knicks that can be caught with your fingernail to determine if you may need shafts during your rebuild. These can be ordered and installed during your rebuild, but may result in longer rebuild times if they are discovered during teardown.
